Goal setting is important in our lives.
In fact, we’d say setting “Law of Attraction Goals” is even more important.
Begin with these 2 key points:
- Think of life as a journey. If we begin our journey not knowing where we are going to, we will never get there. Goal setting helps direct us in where we’re going.
- The Law of Attraction says that you attract into your life whatever you focus on. If you focus on positive things in your life, you will automatically attract more positive things into your life.
Combining the power of goal setting and the Law of Attraction is very powerful.
You bring together a skill to help you focus on achieving a goal and use the Law of Attraction to attract the success you seek.
This makes the Law of Attraction a very powerful tool in helping us set and achieve meaningful goals.
7 Tips to Set Amazing Law of Attraction Goals
1. Define what you really want
The first step is to figure out what you really want and write it down.
Start by writing down what your ideal life will be like, go through each area of your life and set goals for those areas.
Write your goals in a journal you keep for just this purpose.
For example, choose a career goal, a personal relationship goal, a spiritual and a health goals. You don’t have to set goals for all areas of your life if you don’t want to. Let your intuition guide you. You may even have multiple goals for the same area of your life.
You can have as many goals as you like but try to limit it to 7 powerful ones to start, so that you don’t dilute your focus. If you struggle to decide on what you want, start with what you don’t want and let this guide you to what you do want.
2. Fine tune and visualize your goals
Get a clear picture of each goal. Create a picture or something that visually represents that goal to you and create an affirmation for each goal.
Ask yourself the value of achieving a particular goal in your life. How important is it for you to achieve that goal? What areas of your life will be positively impacted by you achieving your goal?
How will it improve the lives of those close to you when you achieve your goal? Imagine that you have achieved the goal. What will be different in your life? What would a typical day look like?
Be clear on the outcome and impact of each of your goals.
3. The goal should motivate you
When you say the goal out loud, you should feel openly excited and positive. Ask yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 how “wow” does it sound? If the wow factor is not a 10 out of 10 ask yourself what you need to do to get it to a 10 out of 10.
It might be as simple as changing a few words. Use words that are emotive to you. For example, if “kick-ass” is more motivating that “awesome” for you, use the word that makes you the most excited.
If you listen to and think about your goal and you are not excited, go back to the drawing board and create a more powerful and meaningful goal.

4. Link your goals to your purpose and values
Think about your top 10 non-negotiable values. For example, if family is important to you, make sure that all your goals take this into account and reflect the importance of family in your life.
If you set a goal such as “I want to earn $1m per year” you need to be sure that goal will not contradict or be out of line with your values. Family time could be affected if you must work 7 days a week. Your health could be affected working long hours. All these factors could in the end hurt your ability to make $1m per year.
You need to make sure that all your goals support all your values.
5. Be specific about the end but not the means
Goal setting is the activity to take specific actions to achieve a specific goal. You want to build a house, then you’ll get a set of plans and build the foundations before the roof. That makes sense.
While it is important to have an idea where to start and how you’ll reach your desired result, you also need to be open to changes and new ideas. Perhaps you find a cheaper way to build your house or find a way to add an extra room at no cost. Be open to possibilities.
If we are too specific about the path, we will not be open to spotting new paths that may even be quicker for achieving our goals. Tell the universe what you want, use your intuition to determine the next step and let the universe open doors for you and show you paths you never knew existed.
6. Read your goals & affirmations every day
Repetition and consistency are the key to planting the seeds of your Law of Attraction goals into your conscious and subconscious mind.
The more often you see, hear and repeat you goals the more focused you become on achieving them.
They are always in your mind and positively affecting the choices and decisions you take.
7. Review your goals at realistic intervals
It is important to check your progress from time to time, but not so often that you get despondent or second guess yourself.
For example, if your goal is to lose weight and you measured your waist twice a day, you might get despondent when there is no change.
However, if you measure your waist once a week you will get to see the difference and be more motivated.
