An attitude of gratitude is when thankfulness and appreciation become part of your daily life.
You discover that gratitude and the Law of Attraction go hand in hand.
Let’s find out how to make gratitude part of your life.
What is the Link between Gratitude and the Law of Attraction?
The following quote nicely sums up the role of gratitude and the law of attraction.
“Every time you praise something, every time you appreciate something, every time you feel good about something, you are telling the Universe “More of this Please”” – from the Teachings of Abraham, Jerry & Esther Hicks.
When you are thankful for both the big and small things in life, you develop a daily habit of consciously looking for things you are be grateful for.
In simple terms the Law of Attraction is based on the premise that “like attracts like”.
If you are stressed and worried about your finances, the universe will bring you more financial problems. If you are grateful for the money you have (no matter how much you have), the universe will bring you more.
Gratitude and appreciation can’t be faked, because it is a vibration or energy.
It is not about the words you speak, but about how you feel when you say them. Intent and emotion are very important.
When you start living your life with an attitude of gratitude you find it much easier to manifest things in your life.
Gratefully Embrace Your Challenges
Every challenge in life teaches us something new.
On the bad days, when you find yourself struggling to be grateful, look at the situation you are in and ask yourself, “what valuable lesson can I take away from this?”.
Challenge yourself to access your subconscious mind for ideas by writing down 20 lessons.
The first two you come up with will be the most obvious and easy to think of because they are in your conscious mind. Once you move beyond these you will access the ideas and resources in your unconscious mind. These lessons are the most powerful to learn from.
If a situation is particularly difficult, and you really can’t find anything to be grateful for about that situation, try dissociating yourself and look at it from a third-party perspective.
Imagine that it is your friend who is experiencing the challenge and think about what you could tell your friend to be grateful for.

Start a Law of Attraction Gratitude Journal
A gratitude journal is a popular way to record your thoughts and allow you to see the importance gratitude has played during both good and challenging times.
With your journal, kick start your attitude of gratitude by writing down 100 things you are grateful for. Every day read through those 100 things and add 5 more.
Take 5 minutes every day and think about the people in your life. Imagine sending them love and gratitude. Think about why you appreciate them and write it all down.
If you’re not sure what to write, look for a mentor or someone who lives with an attitude with gratitude.
Observe what they do and learn from them. If you are stuck ask yourself what they would do in the situation.
Writing your grateful thoughts on a daily basis may be one of the best changes you can make in your life.

Look for what’s right.
All too often we find ourselves complaining about everything that is wrong in our lives. From this moment on, focus on what’s right in your life.
Instead of thinking that you need more wealth, or commiserating with friends about financial hardship, celebrate your prosperity and abundance.
Be grateful for even the most mundane of tasks.
Simple tasks that require little thought give you (gift you) time to appreciate your life. So next time you are standing at the sink washing dishes, think about what you are grateful for. You could be grateful for the food that was on the plates, or the people you shared a meal with.
Slow down and experience and appreciate every moment. Everything we do, every minute of our day we exchange for a minute of our lives. Choose to spend each minute living now and not regretting the past or fearing the future.
Show your appreciation for others by telling them that you are grateful for them.
Develop a habit of “catching them in the act”. Catch your friends, family & co-workers in the act of doing good and compliment them for this.
Let go of jealousy and be genuinely happy for the good in other peoples’ lives. Understand that they have attracted the good into their lives and you can too.
Your turn to receive is coming. In the meantime, celebrate with them.
Remember that there is always someone worse off than you, and someone better off than you. Happiness comes from living in the moment and appreciating what you have right now.
Change your screen saver on your computer or home screen on mobile or even put a note on the fridge with this question “What have I got to be grateful about right now?”
